Catching Up

Time to catch up. Not that much has really been going on, but I just haven't had much to say.

Work is good. I have been working some extra hours to staffing shortages (the nice way of saying someone got fired). I forgot what working full time felt like. Back to normal this week - Thankfully.

Two weekends ago the Bronsink women minus Emily went to Frankenmuth and Bronner's. Jill and Alyssa had never been and it was so much fun to watch Alyssa's face as she explored. I even started to get the Christmas spirit. Just a little bit . . . I am not ready for Christmas music yet, but I'm getting there. We didn't take Emily for obvious reasons. Jill didn't want to have to pay for half the store being broken.

Alyssa standing by a Christmas float at Bronner's.

Hanging out by the Cheese Haus. Alyssa took every opportunity to get her picture taken. Gotta love being 9 years old.

I've been dealing with some killer headaches again. Not sure what that is all about. I started going to the chiropractor a few weeks ago and I'm wondering if moving things around has kicked them back in. Not that they were ever really gone, but at least they weren't as bad for awhile.

Baby talk is all around lately . . . and it's making me crave a baby. We've had 3 babies in the last 2 weeks at church. A good friend just found out she's pregnant and a co-worker just announced she's expecting. Ahh. Am I ready for that?

What else . . . found a new author I'm loving. The series is Crime of Fashion Mystery. I will say they aren't "christian" novels, but I am really enjoying them. The main character is fashion reporter in Washington DC. And she gets into every sort of snafu possible. Very entertaining. Currently reading . . . . Grave Apparel. #4 in the series.
