Summer is here

Summer has arrived in Michigan. Of course, this is the week we are finally feeling up to doing things and Maggie is finally feeling some better. Lugging the car seat around in 90 degree weather is not fun :( After our stay in the hospital Maggie seems to have developed some reflux. Not a surprising considering that all 3 of my brother's kids had it. My nephew had an extreme case. My dad and brother have stomach issues and I have had an ulcer and been diagnosed with IBS. A trip to the doctor last week had us switching formula, adding some cereal and trying out zantac. Between that and finishing up the antibiotic, my little girl seems to be feeling much better. She even slept 8 hrs one night this week. And she's been napping during day or at least a little bit. She likes to be awake during the day it seems. I had someone tell me it's because she is nosey. I think that might be right. She always wants to know what is going on and who is where. She also appears to have the Bronsink appetite. She screams when we take her bottle away to burp her. Apparently, her cousin Alyssa was like this as well. So she is growing well. Her 1 month appointment is today so we'll see how big she is. The stats from her 2 wk appt are not correct. When I was at the doctor last week she as 10 lbs 2 oz. So we think the nurse read the scale wrong. I think she's 11 lbs. Daddy doesn't think she's that big. Below is a picture from this morning. Thank goodness for air conditioning but we are still dressing cool.
