Our new floor

I should start this post with a big THANK YOU to my in-laws. They are about the most handy people I know. They definitely rank up there with my Grandpa Bronsink. Mark and I have been wanting to up date our main floor laundry room/bathroom for awhile. There was a weird yellow stain under the the washing machine that I hated and couldn't remove. Plus it would look much classier and raise the value of the house. So last weekend Mark's parents came down and taught my husband and soon to be BIL how to tile. I also have to say a big THANK YOU to my mom for painting the room before they came to start. I have heard mixed reviews on if you can paint when your pregnant, so we decided to play it safe. Since we couldn't take the washer and dryer out before she painted it was kind of pain. The one thing I did not know about tiling - it has to cure for 2 days before you can seal it and then dry 2 more days. I didn't get my washer and dryer back until Thursday night. So in total I went 10 days with no washer and dryer. That was not a fun pile of laundry to do. But it's done and looks AMAZING. I wish the pictures were better, but you get the idea. I love it.
