As many of you probably know, I have struggled with headache's for a long time. Like years. I feel like are constantly on the look out for what might work better or maybe get rid of them forever. I have been to so many different doctors, I don't think I even remember them all. So this week I went to the doctor and he suggested a new drug. Relatively new. I was pretty excited by the idea. I get to Target pharmacy, to find it it's too new to be covered by our insurance. The cost . . . as you may have guessed was $242.59 for 9 pills. Needless to say I still have a headache.

I know drug companies spend a lot of time and money on research to make new drugs. And I understand that they have the right have a patent (I don't know what you call it for drugs) for a while to cover their costs. But it doesn't help me get rid of my headache.

I just had to vent for a minute.
